"Little Bunny Foo Foo" is a children's poem about a bunny rabbit harassing a population of field mice and many other creatures. The rabbit is scolded and eventually punished by a fairy known as the "Good Fairy", who turns the disobedient rabbit into a "goon" or "goonie".The poem consists of four-line sung verses separated by some spoken words. My favourite English hare is the one Boudicca kept inside her tunic before a battle with the Romans, so when she let it run free, the hare’s path was read as an omen for her warriors’ victory.
